If Dora had been an option, I'm sure she would have wanted them also. She loves all things Dora (our new phonics books are even Dora). She went through an amazing process in the Target shoe department - trying on every pair and calmly deciding which pair she liked best. Our usual shoe "purchase" involves either a hand-me-down, a consignment deal or a garage sale, so this was a totally new experience for her to have the power to try on and choose any pair of shoes. I was really proud of her that day and somehow didn't mind that I paid $15.99 for some cheap, shiny, strappy, branded sandals. I love this post. Thanks, Krista!
